Ready for Innovation: Kick-off of the ICM Early Ride Program 2024

- News

Last week marked the start of our "ICM Early Ride Program" as the first steps of the entrepreneurial journey were taken. At the kick-off event in the "TRIANGEL Transfer Kultur Raum" in Karlsruhe, the motivated participants met for the first time to dive into the program's first module.

In the intense first workshop "Idea-Market Fit," led by Johannes Schnabel, the entrepreneurial mindset was sharpened, and the foundation for the first milestone, the "Problem-Solution-Fit", was laid. The teams prepared and prioritized key assumptions that will be crucial for success. Now, they are ready to validate these assumptions in the coming weeks and gradually reduce the risk of their ventures.

A brief overview of the participants and their ideas:

Joshua Spreng, Vincent Spreng, Tristan Spreng
AlgaeSorb: A substance for landfill operators that mitigates methane emissions, enabling the prevention of the natural production of methane in landfills.

Sinah Nikola Käfferlein, Vahid Ghaiurane, Joshua Enahoro
Vrakos-Grid: A matchmaking platform for both logistic depots with truck charging infrastructure and truck operators that centralizes access and distribution for charging infrastructure, enabling smarter and broader access.

Daniel Kurth
IntelliScan: A motion planning algorithm for the manufacturing industry that improves path planning for redundant motion systems, enabling user-friendly planning systems.

Marc Fischer, Moritz Walker
RealMatic: A framework to build automation software for automation engineers that controls manufacturing systems, enabling flexible and hardware-independent solutions.

Bhanu Seth
TestWise Innovation: A special approach for research groups to build test environments, enabling customized and extendable equipment solutions.

Anjela Mayer, Kevin Kastner, Ines Miguel Alonso
ImmersiveCreator: A visual data management and documentation tool for companies and universities that enables an audio-visual forwarding of information via VR/AR, allowing easy documentation and "natural" learning experiences.

We look forward to supporting the teams and showcasing their ideas in more detail over the coming weeks.

Good luck on your journey!
