Future Labs

The "Future Labs" call for proposals supports investments at universities to strengthen ICM's collaboration with companies or research institutions in Baden-Württemberg. Key elements of the Future Labs are the establishment and joint use of newly created research infrastructure, which is to be used for both research and transfer to industrial implementation. The measure is intended to support investments in two categories:

  1. New research infrastructure for functional models with a flexible investment sum.

Currently, there is no open call.

Collaborative Projects

In Collaborative Projects, the University of Stuttgart and KIT work together on promising research topics of outstanding scientific quality and with high knowledge potential, which are substantially developed and advanced. An essential element is the further development of the joint scientific work of both universities.

Currently, there is no open call.

Networking Projects

An essential element of the Networking Projects is the cooperation of at least one of the two universities with partners from industry or with international research institutions. The focus of the call for proposals for Networking Projects with companies is more on application-oriented research, whereas the aim of Networking Projects with international research institutions is to strengthen the visibility of the ICM internationally.
