Structure-integrated sensor technology as a key technology for future drive systems
In the course of the mobility transformation, the need for automation approaches continues to increase, partly due to the growing shared economy. The availability of detailed sensor data is an important prerequisite for meeting this demand. Damage or improper use, for example, can be determined automatically by sensors, as can road or other environmental conditions.
The project aimed to conduct fundamental research into sensor integration with wireless energy and data transmission using the example of a sensor system for detecting deformation and sliding processes in tire slack. Additive manufacturing processes were used to achieve the most cost-effective sensor integration possible in terms of development and production.
