How can scientists be better motivated towards entrepreneurship and how can top entrepreneurial talents be developed? Especially in pioneering fileds like the future of mobility tailored programs are essential. This project focuses on analyzing specific challenges and developing a targeted concept for a Next Generation Entrepreneurship Program.

Aim

The project aims to analyze, systematize, and prepare the current state of knowledge on talent development programs in the context of knowledge transfer and startup creation. This will serve as a basis for deriving concrete measures to tailor such a program specificially to the needs of  future mobility.

Approach

  • Conduct a review of similar programs at leading universities.
  • Identify and systematize local challenges in the context of future mobility.
  • Evaluate both the selected programs and identified challenges using analytical methods.
  • Based on this analysis, develop solution concepts.
  • Subsequently, exchange with entrepreneurship education experts and stakeholders to critically assess these solution concepts.
  • The resulting recommendations for action will form the foundation for a robust program.

Benefit

Added Value for Research Institutions: Entrepreneurial thinking has become a key competency, whether for acquiring new research projects or as an evaluation criterion in appointing new professors. Partner institutions will receive a guideline to effectively equip their employees with these essential skills.

Added Value for the ICM ecosystem: Since the concept is developed with a focus on the future of mobility, ICM will gain a directly applicable program for talent and personnel development. This is expected to foster an increase in transfer projects and promote entrepreneurial thinking.
