Productivity scaling and additive manufacturing processes for functionally integrated plastic components
As part of the project in addition to scaling stereolithography (SLA) processes using 2-photon polymerization (2PP), an automated process chain for manufacturing plastic parts with integrated metallic, mechatronic and SLA printed functional components from the Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) process was developed. Here, it was shown that integration of the precise, scaled 2PP SLA components into the FFF process can offer new opportunities in the field of additive manufacturing.
