We were especially delighted by the interest shown by so many visitors – from children and school classes to students and mobility experts. The exchange was lively, the questions specific, and the discussions honest:
How can we create more livable cities, smarter systems, and sustainable mobility?
Visitors got insights into our projects and topics, including:
- Self-driving mini trucks and trains
- Learning robots
- City models with digitally connected traffic
- New propulsion concepts
- Heat pumps without refrigerants
We were also especially pleased to welcome an international alumni group from KIT and the University of Stuttgart as part of their Alumni Week – a wonderful opportunity for exchange across borders and disciplines. A highlight of the evening was our panel discussion on the future of urban mobility moderated by Corinna Jahn featuring thought-provoking input from Prof. Dr. Michael Decker, Director of Deutsches Museum München, Dr. Sandra Kauffmann-Weiß, Managing Director of the InnovationCampus Future Mobility, and Prof. Dr. Eric Sax, Director of the Institute for Information Processing Technologies, KIT.
You can find the best impressions from the day in our photo gallery. Together, with many committed partners from science, industry, and society, we continue working on rethinking mobility. See you at the next event – we’re already looking forward to it!
