ICM at the joint booth Baden-Württemberg at Hannover Messe
Powerhouse Baden-Württemberg: Industry and academia from THE LÄND are once again coming together at this year's Hannover Messe. From March 31 to April 4, nearly 200 companies from Baden-Württemberg will exhibit at the world's leading industrial trade fair. More than 70 of them will present their solutions at the two THE LÄND pavilions under this year’s motto "Matching Minds."
Baden-Württemberg International is organizing the joint stand in the "Energy for Industries" section together with e-mobil BW and the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation. At Stand C78 in Hall 13, 47 exhibitors will showcase their products and solutions. Meanwhile, at THE LÄND pavilion in Hall 15, Stand A06, which BW_i is organizing in cooperation with the Allianz Industrie 4.0 Baden-Württemberg, a total of 25 companies, research institutions, and universities will highlight their cutting-edge innovations from Baden-Württemberg.
This year, Canada is not only the official partner country of Hannover Messe, but also a key partner for Baden-Württemberg. This close collaboration is reflected throughout the program, from the state reception to various stand events during the trade fair.
The InnovationCampus Future Mobility (ICM) is a joint research platform of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the University of Stuttgart with the vision of a sustainable and emission-free mobility of the future.
In the field of electronics manufacturing, an AI-powered inspection system will be presented at the trade fair. It optimizes the reuse of printed circuit boards (PCB) by dynamically and product-specifically combining different testing methods, analyzing results in real time, and initiating targeted repair, reuse, or recycling measures. This reduces electronic waste and enables resource-efficient as well as profitable circular economy.
Additionally, the miniature vehicle "Mini-eVee" will be shown as a test platform for future mobility concepts. The versatile prototype model on a scale of 1:4 makes it possible to test new communication, control and drive concepts in a realistic environment before they are transferred to large vehicle models.
