ICM Seminar for Doctoral Students and Postdocs

The partners of the InnovationCampus Future Mobility (ICM) are looking forward to the first joint ICM seminar for doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers on 24 and 25 June 2024 in Bad Liebenzell. Our aim is to bring together the ICM doctoral community to present their research topics and deepen their knowledge in interactive workshops. In addition, experts and alumni and alumnae will share their experiences and give tips on how to plan and finance a stay abroad.

 

Day 1 | 24 June 2024

9:30 am: Check-In & welcome

10 am: Pitch your project - Current (funding) projects at the ICM

1 pm: Lunch together

2:30 pm: From the local to the global - Information on staying abroad

5 pm: Research meets wanderlust - Experience reports from doctoral candidates and postdocs

7 pm: Get-together at the BBQ

 

Day 2 | 25 June 2024

9 pm: Parallel workshops - deepening knowledge and learning interactively and participatively

Presentation Skills for Groups | Ethics in Research | Introduction to Design Thinking | Science Communication for Funding Applications

Noon: Lunch together

1 pm: Continuation of the four parallel workshops

4 pm: Closing and perspectives

End around 4:30 pm

Choose your workshop

On the second day, we will start with four parallel workshops where you will build knowledge on important cross-cutting issues. All workshops are designed to be interactive, so you can work on your own topics and take your first results home with you. The number of participants in each workshop is limited. If a workshop is no longer available when you register ("(nicht verfügbar)" appears), please try another workshop.
