LAB4 - Binder jetting plant

Aim

The aim of the project is to procure a binder jetting system for researching and further developing the process for manufacturing metallic and ceramic components. In its current stage of development, the BinderJetting process can only be used for industrial production to a very limited extent. In order to exploit the potential of the process, especially for industrial applications, an in-depth and interdisciplinary investigation of the process steps and their interactions is necessary. To this end, a flexible research facility is to be procured that will enable both efficient materials development and scaling to real-size components.
