Modular fuel cell system
Alongside batteries, fuel cells (FC) are a key element on the road to future-oriented, electrified mobility. Like the battery, the fuel cell is not (yet) a cost-effective solution for the drive system of the future. Modularization of systems offers the opportunity in reducing manufacturing costs and creating perceptible added value for customers by providing additional functionalities . The aim of the project was to modularize a FC-system in such a way that parallel use of the FC -system or sub-modules in different use cases (primary use: vehicle, secondary use: leisure, tertiary use: emergency power requirements) was made possible.
