Modular apprenticeship laboratory for robotics and intelligent automation
Modern robotics and manufacturing technologies are already well advanced in theory and offer great potential. In practice, however, there is often a lack of easily accessible learning platforms to comprehensively understand and apply these technologies. This makes it difficult to prepare future specialists for the complex requirements of Industry 4.0.
The mobile research laboratory is designed to give students and schoolchildren practical experience of robotics in modern production and inspire them for technical professions. To this end, MARIA uses modular universal robots, simulations and various manufacturing processes to create flexible, adaptive learning environments for different manufacturing processes.
