Kick-Off ICM-Accelerator: Science meets entrepreneurship!

- News

This week, our intrapreneurship program started as part of the ICM Accelerator. Around 20 talented scientists are learning how to advance their promising ideas and research results from mobility and related production within universities.

After the welcome by ICM Managing Director Dr. Sandra Kauffmann-Weiß, Dr. Eric Heintze from the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science (ENI) at the University of Stuttgart and Julian Wadepuhl, CEO enabl Technologies, shared impulses from the perspective of the university and of a founder. Afterwards, the participants had the opportunity to get to know each other, present their projects and share their visions for the future.

Alexandra Bura-Dollhofer, KIT Innovation gGmbH, gave an outlook on the next weeks: Over the course of the program, five modules will work on fostering ideas and innovation as well as entrepreneurial thinking. Through expert workshops, access to tools and resources, and a valuable network of like-minded innovators, scientists will learn how to take their ideas to the next level and accelerate meaningful change in their institutes and beyond.

Thank you to all of the participants! It was inspiring to see so many innovative ideas and promising research results come together here. We look forward to developing these further with you!
