Mobility: resource-conserving production - emission-free driving

The InnovationCampus Future Mobility (ICM) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the University of Stuttgart aims to remain mobile and produce while respecting the earth's natural ability to regenerate. Almost 300 researchers in over 60 research projects and 40 research institutes are working here on electric motors without rare earths, innovative production technologies and self-learning software systems for vehicles. The ICM is one of the largest initiatives for mobility and production of the future in Germany. The first solutions developed at the ICM show that economic success and ecological responsibility are by no means mutually exclusive, but can even complement each other. Some of these were presented today (Wednesday, 12 October 2022) at the ‘Future Mobility Open Labs’ at KIT.
