When research alumni from 15 countries come together, special moments arise – and that is exactly what happened at the International Alumni Week 2025 of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the University of Stuttgart. Eighteen researchers from Asia, Europe, Africa, and North and Latin America traveled to immerse themselves for a week in new ideas, unfamiliar perspectives, and an innovation ecosystem that connects research, industry, and society.
