ICM-Day: Future Mobility Open Labs

In the summer of 2019, the University of Stuttgart and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) combined their world class research and innovation teams in the fields of sustainable transport and production and launched the Innovation Campus Future Mobility (ICM). Funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts Baden-Württemberg, today, four years later, this has resulted in one of the largest research initiatives in these fields:

More than 300 researchers are working on novel technologies, groundbreaking innovations and their transfer to application in over 130 research projects with a volume of around 65 million euros. In short, on solutions to the major challenges posed by the transformation of the automotive industry in the economy and society.

To mark its fourth anniversary, the ICM will be presenting its projects and results at the "ICM Day - Future Mobility Open Labs" on October 5, 2023. One of the highlights will be an extensive exhibition where visitors can experience the future of production and mobility. We cordially invite interested companies from the fields of mobility and production to come and see the results of four years of cutting-edge cross-university research on site, to talk to us and to celebrate with us at the get-together afterwards.
